And I have been an exceptionally good Spoony (well, except for today:o) so no 6 for me:j:j

Too early in the month to be feeling this despondent!

No NSDs to report. Had to get petrol yesterday as my thoughts of getting to work today were very optimistic on what I had left! And today I needed to buy bread so that i can try and resist chips tomorrow for lunch by bringing my sandwiches. I did put my spendy days to good use though and get some more Christmas presents :T
Don't think I'll need to spend anything tomorrow so fingers crossed for the next NSDNo more buying books Books in 2016 = 20.

No NSD for me - I got petrol and can I just say :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: !!!
Not too long ago I filled her all up (little 1.4 peugeot) for about £45.....I had to stop the pump at £60 today (sorry have to do this again :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:)! I thought it was broken! Anyway, when I started her the fuel tank was pretty much full so she couldn't have taken much more but still. I need a nice lie down! No 5 today please
Jinty hope the car is sorted now .... I remember when I got min3 back after someone vandalised it and one side was perfect and the other hadn't been touched:mad:. I refused to sign & they took it away again & fixed it - their excuse "oh we thought it was already like that".
LMH know what you mean about fuel. My old car used to take around £50 to fill up. When I got Teeny, she only cost around £30 (tiny fuel tank to match everything else:)) but it now costs around £45:( if she's parched. Trying to put it in a positive light;) it would cost me nearly £70 to fill the old one so pleased I've not still got it.
DM brought her old dresser for my kitchen today so I've now loads of storage space:) (has been sadly lacking until now).
Of course, this has meant reorganising every cupboard in the kitchen!:o Everything was shoved in where I could squeeze it before and it was really hard to keep track of what I had. I've now been able to sort everything into a proper order and have food stuffs together:).
Hoping this will help me plan my groceries a bit better as I'll be able to see exactly what I need!:) (and not buy yet more of xxx as I've forgotten there's already a load in a different cupboard).
Slinking off now ...... I really need to get out more!Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
2016 Sell: £125/£250
£1,000 Emergency Fund Challenge #78 £3.96 / £1,000Vet Fund: £410.93 / £1,000

We're going away Sun and Mon night, all inclusive hotel deal so hopefully there'll be no need to spend anything there. However, Tues we're off to Cadbury's World (using Mr T's days out vouchers) will have to buy lots of chocs.
So, hopefully when I pop back on on Wed morn, I should be able to add 2 NSDs to my total, fingers crossed.
Well, not doing too badly. We didn't spend anything on Sun or Mon, Tues we didn't spend much at Cadbury's World but Mr S delivered me lots of food in the eve. Haven't spent today or yest so that makes 4 more NSDs this month.:j
Hope everyone else is doing well too xxx0 -

Freebyfifty Wow- 9 in a row is that a record? get better soon.
Just changed our house ins from Sterling to NFU and saved - a whopping £448 and its better cover, didn't mind paying the first instalment over the phone. So its not a NSD today, so I think I'll go out and do some Mr S shopping for the week - already made my list and have every intention of sticking to it. lol0 -
Hya folks, been busy the past few days.
Pleased to report have nabbed NSDs yesterday and today, making a total of 6 NSDs so far, not great, but better than I thought it would be
Definitely spending tomorrow, on the last milk tonight...if it defrosts in time!). Also Saturday methinks, have to take DS2 to Staffs Uni Open Day...will take a packed lunch, so we may manage an NSD, here's hoping!
Right, off rto get tea started...have a good evening everyone x
