As predicted, a spend day for me. I hope everyone else managed to grab an NSD though.
If you've nothing decent to say, perhaps you shouldn't say anything.

    £2 savings jar £300:D
Total credit card debts £1250:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad: - Will I ever learn!!
  • I've managed to squeeze in one more NSD,which makes it 17 in all.:)

Butti hope your luck changes soon (((hugs)))

BDINI good luck with the viewings!

    Good evening all!
  • Wooohooo, met my target - just! So 15 for me.

Well done everyone. Off to update my sig now...
  • Just 9 out of 11 achieved this month. Birthdays and Christmas shopping having a key part to play. Next month will be tough, my wages have been decimated due to A LOT of bills and debts.
  • Hi everyone ..... LMH shhhhh, the junk drawer is still lurking (but I did clear out the 6 drawers in my desk):)

Managed to survive my Weds off without spending (which is a rare occurrence) and according to my spending diary I've made it past my 15 NSDs for the month so pretty pleased with that (especially the month I've had!).

I was going to pop to Mr T to try to get some more candles but when I came out of my pals it was horrid so dove into the car & straight home!:)

Roll on December, I will be quite frankly glad to see the back of November!:o

    Can't believe it's nearly Christmas!

Well, didn't quite make the magic 15 NSDs due to Christmas shopping yesterday (online discount offer about to run out) but I am still pleased with the 14 I got.

Bad news today - car rear brake discs and pads need replacing. Car is still under used vehicle warranty but that does not cover consumeables like discs and pads, and those nice(?) people at the dealers quoted £275 for the job. Just as well my usual local garage chappie, who helped keep my last car on the road, is able to do the job day after tomorrow for £110. And I know he will do a proper job as well, he has an established business and lots of locals recommend him.

Could have done without this assault on my finances but fortunately the freezer is chock full of stuff for the next 3 weeks' meals so it will just be a case of getting milk, fruit, veg etc. All meat for Christmas is now stowed in the freezer and most of the edible festive goodies have already been purchased. Just a few little prezzies left to get, nothing expensive, then Bob's yer auntie. And careful juggling of the finances means the £110 car bill is not unmanageable as long as I am careful. Payday December is 22nd or 23rd so only 3 weeks to survive!

Well now, have we had a splendid NSD month? If so, that calls for a St Andrews Day celebration! Igor! Polish up the haggis, break out yer sporran and uncork your finest batch of whisky, there's a party going on! (I may not be Scottish but any excuse for a celebration!)

Hey all! Well as expected no NSD for me to polish off the month with BUT I did pick up some essentials in Mr T (apples, bananas and some of the risotto rice they have for 82p atm), also picked up the money wallets needed for the various kids xmas money, AND picked up two picutre frames which might be suitable for my Bro's GF belated b'day present. So tick and tick off my 'to 'do' list :D Did want to get me brows done but no time so have pennies put aside for that tomorrow. :A

See you all in Dec

Spent again today to get OH Xmas pressie and take advantage of the 1200 points at Boots ... so.... I think I only made 12 NSDs... Feeling deeply ashamed of my rampant spending :o
