in Credit cards
Hello everyone.
I have a very good credit rating and currently have a barclaycard 0% until January with around 1k on it, Im paying off the minimum as have been jumping from 0% to 0% for a couple of years.
Now I have no other choice to take out another 0% credit card to pay for some things which are urgent and unavoidable.
I have been looking at the tesco 15 month 0% on purchases.
I cant seem to see who is behind the tesco card, ie is Barclaycard a different company than the company behind tesco credit card? so I could transfer the old balance to the new card?
Hope that makes sense!

Different companies.
One is called Barclays Bank. The other is called Tesco Bank (100% owned by the supermarket).0 -

So can I just confirm that if I needed to transfer those balances together, I potentially could? Bit confused now!0

I believe Tesco cc is from RBS as it says on my credit report0

Tesco Bank is 100% owned by Tesco.
http://mediacentre.tescobank.com/help/about_us/Tesco Bank was launched in 1997 as a joint venture between Tesco and The Royal Bank of Scotland. In 2008, Tesco acquired the remaining 50% RBS shareholding for £950m and Tesco Bank is now fully owned by Tesco plc.0 -
