Help Required with Timer Controls for Worcester Boiler

Hi
Me and my girlfriend have just moving in to our new house. The boiler fitted is a worcester bosch with a mechanical timer MT10 now this might sound a bit thick but neither of us can work out how the timer works. Anyone know? got the instructions but they are not very clear at all. So far I think the heating has been on 24/7!
