Definitely Job 1. Let Job 2 know you may be available in 2 months and see what they say. See if you can work a second job around it many jobs ie supermarkets are open 24 hours and so many opportunities for working a second job around a main job.:j Trytryagain FLYLADY - SAYE £700 each month Premium Bonds £713 Mortgage Was £100,000@20/6/08 now zilch 21/4/15:beer: WTL - 52 (I'll do it 4 MUM)0

Job 1.
Its all about who you know, what you know helps but the job gts you more than a course fort he same expereince it gets you in contact with people that matter.
In specialist fields like this that are also big in acedemia you need to be networking, doing thing like getting to conferences(international helps), getting to know the leading accademics and major employers in the field.
Jobs come by knowig people, looks like this is how you got this one on the table.
Turning them down if you are the ideal candidate could put a black mark on your record(word gets round your heart is not in it).0 -
Yes they are very hard to come by, it's an extremely specialised field, on a project that I just so happened to do my dissertation for uni on (hence why I have come about being offered it). No it is not the norm, the company just need a few extra hands for the 4 weeks.
Then, assuming you can still just about afford to live, Job 1 without a doubt.0 -
Job No.1
It's rare that people get the opportunity to be able to work in their dream job. And, as has been said above, experience in the field of work you're looking for would certainly help your future job searches
Good luck
