HSBC offer, how long to wait for the money

How long have people had to wait to actually receive it???

I would give them about a month, from when they received your acceptance and if you've not received your refund by then, give them a call, they should be able to confirm, but otherwise ring them anyway and ask for a timescale, good luck.
