Thanks! Shame their web site doesn't seem to want me to order less than 4, though!

Phone them, they are a really nice bunch and I'm sure they will be able to sort it for you. :D

EDIT I've emailed them to let them know there is a problem

I've had a l'Equip for a while now. Yes, it can take whole fruit, ie skins, pips, etc but not stones! However, you'll have to cut apples into quarters or thirds to get it in the chute. Doesn't take long, and it manages to wring out loads of juice.

Me, I peel oranges first as I'm not keen on that bitter pithy taste.
  • After reading lots of reviews seems that there are 2 types of juicer: centrifugal and masticating. Masticating costs more, but you get more juice, and also the juice lasts longer because the process injects less oxygen.

So does anyone know if the juice can be frozen?

Dont suppose there's any chance this offer is still avaliable????? have checked their website(link no longer works) but cant find a listing for the L'Equip.

Have you looked at Tchibo? http://www.tchibo.co.uk/ They had a juicer in the Wimbledon store which was around £25...

these are now £19.99 in stores...i just got mine today - centrifugal, fairly small footprint, a pain to clean [but find me a juicer that isn't] and a 3 year guarantee!

apparently you remove the red carrot stains with vegetable oil. you learn a new thing every day!

Please help me, I would like to buy a JUicer but I dont know which one is best to buy.

I have been looking at the Jack Lalanne Express Juicer but dont understand why the wattage is so low at 200 watt. Most other juicers are alot higher wattage than this.

If anyone out there can give me advice I will appreciate it.:o

It depends mainly on your budget I think.

We have a Lidls machine which we bought a few years back for around £15, when they have them now they are £9.99, I think. It has worked very well, the amount of abuse it has taken is remarkable. I can't see any reason to pay more for a centrifugal type machine.

One day when we have money running out of our ears we will maybe get a masticating type machine though I suspect that maybe their mooted benefits are maybe more hype than reality. £150-200 is a lot of money to pay out.

I have had a le duo for a bout 7 years and it is the best. The guarantee for parts is 3 years and the motor is 12 years. I have had various parts replaced and a full new machine as i do use it daily. It was well wortht the £100 odd pound i paid for it.
