garry1974 wrote:what dog is it? my rhodesian ridgeback casually walks up and presses his head on it and up the lid pops he does it nearly automatically. weve had to relocate the bin behind a closed door but when you go in there and dont shut the door you just hear the click and the dog is stood behind looking all innocent lol.
had my bin for 2 years and no problems got in cheap in makro for 40 quid i believe. take a real hammering and nothings broke yet. keep my fingers crossed
He is a Weimaraner. He will just wander up to it and rest his chin on it so that he hears the click. If you are in the kitchen with him then he stays stock still with his chin on the bin as if to say 'What?! I'm not doing anything!' :rotfl:
We have taken to putting a carrier bag over the lid of it, but he's worked out how to pull this up now too. The little monkey! Wouldn't have him any other way though.

Hi I have had one for approx 4 years and still fine, and still original lid, and that is with a household of 2 adults and 3 small children. I started off buying their bags but had to stop as our council will not take anything which is not in a Black bin bag, so now buy cheap black bags instead from anywhere I see a promotion, all of the black bags I have bought have been fine with the bin.0

We have had our Touch Bin for 3 years now - got it in Costco for £55. We also buy the Kirkland bags from there - box of 200 ( i think) for about £7 - they normally last us about a year. They are identical to the Brabantia bags too with the drawstring top and a re very strong. No Longer addicted to Boots! - Well not today anyway!! :blushing:
