Item reported to eBay "circumvention of e bay fees" gets withdrawn within hours and complain about fake goods or something which does not cost eBay money and nothing gets done.

    Why am I not surprised?

It's clear as day if they're avoiding fees.

If something's fake, how does ebay know who to believe?

Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j

Well someone got there before me !!! I did not realise I would spark such a debate! I see it as abuse, and if it did go missing they you would be down by fifty quid.

I also report people for selling livestock through ebay, am I wrong for this as well!?!
You're not wrong for reporting anything that you believe is wrong and against the rules.

It's one of the more annoying habits of people nowadays to get very uptight about rules that are broken that they care about but ridicule or belittle people who are concerned about rules that don't happen to bother them.

In a civilised society we obey all the rules, not just those that we find important and respect other people's concerns.

Well done for standing up for what you believe is right.

    Are you for real?!

What an incredibly dull world that would be, just full of self-righteous do-gooders.

    I think you misunderstand.

I'm, not saying that everyone should make it their business to go around reporting every infraction they see.

I'm saying that just because a rule seems unimportant to you, you should not whine if someone else takes a different view.

Presumably there are rules you would like obeyed and enforced and you wouldn't be amused if you were belittled or ridiculed for taking some action if you saw them breached.

What I'm really saying here is that people should not have double standards. Unless you are a complete anarchist who will never complain no matter what rule is broken, don't be hypocritical and castigate others for taking action over the rules they believe are important.
