Job Losses from 3uk Glasgow

I write this post with deep regret.
Today at Glasgow 120+ job losses were announced.
Our Mailbox, Channel Support and ROI departments are to be outsourced to India.
This means that all customer service enquiries via email, letter, retailer and all other forms, will be dealt with by Mumbai.
Obviously this shows that the 3 (Hutchison Whampoa) company are putting profit before the staff and more importantly the customer.
You now have a choice! You can either:
1. Stick with it and deal with our poor customer service advisors in Mumbai
or
2. Vote with your wallets and back the UK work force.
I urge you to look for another provider. If your contract with 3 is up for renewal then don't renew it. Don't recommend your friends and if you are going to write/email in address it to Bob Fuller.
140 staff prior to Christmas were given their P45's as part of a restructuring packagae and we were told that this would not happen to Glasgow. This wasn't the case. 3 now plans to open another Indian contact centre in Punar, which affects jobs here in the UK.
You know it makes sense. Vote with your wallets and back the UK and the staff at Glasgow!!!
