When I move my mouse over threads I get a pop-up before I click my mouse, it is really annoying. Can I disable this?

Not easily.
The code instructing the browser to do it is coded into the forum software I think, and there isn't an option a user can use to disable it via that.
Many browsers won't have an option to disable it directly in the browser either.
You used to be able to disable it in Firefox, but it might also harm the functioning of other sites and builtin tooltips in the browser.
