I posted mine and got acknowledgement letter from FOS after about a week but mine did say that it would be at least 4 weeks before they contacted me again as they are extremely busy. Hope that helps.

FOS Upheld complaint !!

Santy made a rubbish offer, went to FOS , Santy have now made a revised offer based on recalculation of loan based on orginal interest rate.

Stick at it everyone, might be a long journey but Santy will have to pay out in the end !

We received a knock back letter and sent to FOS. Got a letter today from FOS who advised it could take up to 12 weeks to hear further. I am just concerned that the FOS might agree with Santander. Anyone had any experience of that ?

well, I think (only think!) that I have a rejection letter on its way to me. I'd emailed them on 17/04 asking for an update as they had had 8 weeks and got told that they regrettably hadnt concluded the investigations etc. and they had no expected date for a resolution.
I then emailed them yesterday asking if they had an update for me yet only to receive an email back stating that they sent out a resolution letter to me on 16/04!!
my guess is that they couldnt organise a p!ss up in a brewery! glad I sent my stuff to the FOS on 17/04!

My rejection letter, which also didn't make it, was dated 16th April as well.

Have asked for a copy of Santys calculations. Bet they refuse to give them !! Really interested in how they calculate the refund as they are unable to give an accurate figure. This will be the third "calculation" from Santy each one a bit higher. I bet they just roll five dice - thats a two, four, four, six and and a one- yes your refund is £244.61

Do any of the "offers" include numbers greater than six ?

whats confusing me though is if they sent a rejection letter on 16/04 (which I didnt receive) why send an email on 17/04 saying they havent concluded their investigations?!
