  • sorry for long post sorry if sounds like im boasting have had a really good week and wanted to tell someone thanks everyone for this thread it has made a big difference to the way i think about money and has saved me loads already.:):)

:T:T:T Well done Lemmings! No it don't sound like your boasting. When people tell us how well they are doing it often spurs others on to do the same. Why don't you maybe up your challenge a little bit more and see how much you can make!

£6 to add to my total, but nearly didn't have it. Went shopping to Mr T's and forgot to hand my £6 voucher in. I was gutted! :o Anyway, check out girl said customer services might honor it so i went to ask. CS said "we not supposed to but i'll do it for you just this once".... So managed to get £6 cash from her till :D

Apart from that i have nothing to add. One ebay buyer still hasn't paid from last sunday so i've emailed to ask if she still wants it. If not i will re-list today. If she pays i will be able to add that to my total. Listed 10 things on ebay yesterday, and relisted 10, so thats 20 active sales. Will try and list another 10 today. Finally have a day off, but its my best friends/sister-in-laws birthday today so i have 10 coming for lunch. Still don't get a rest!! :o

Anyway, up update my sig with £6.... And i have only 1 more thing to say today....

    Lest We Forget.....

Will be thinking about my little cousin in Afhganistan today.

    Have a good day everyone!

you are not boasting. You are sharing your MSE Ways with us :D and it is good, keeps us motivated and encourages us to do the same.

On Friday, I had friend with children for late lunch, come over. We had home made pizza, birthday cake, pasta with items from store cupboard. Everyone at the pizza and said how delicious it was, the kids cleared the pasta ! :T And friend wanted leftover pasta to take home! :o

so it can be done and for me it was a NSD (no spend day) as didn't leave house at all.

In the last couple of days the £10 gift card came through fro the supermarket i complained about (totally justified!) and a friend of a friend we lent money to at the beginning of the year paid us back £25 we thought we would probably not see again. so another £35 to add to the total.

  • Morning everyone.

I managed to make no money as such yesterday but I started my xmas shopping and got it all for free because of my voucher stash that I earnt throughout the year. It felt great buying presents people have asked for and it not hurting my bank account. I even managed to shop for 3 hours and not buy myself a single thing. That is a massive achievement!!

I spent all last night whilst watching xfactor ebaying clothes and 'watching' videos on maximiles. I am a little in love with this site. Just waiting for my M and S voucher to turn up, only took about 10 days to earn that so very happy. (Won't count it till it appears though!)

I was wondering if I could have swagbucks information please fairyclicks??!! That is the next site for me to get my head around. This money making is very addictive!

Keep up all the good work guys!

Just £10 to add, this from a business reimbursement that i paid for months ago, still have another £38.00 to get and add, will update sig.

I joined swag bucks early this morning, wasnt too focused, managed 103 points and decided to try the tasks, so have 1 that i want to do, think its 20 points, will see how it goes.

What is everybody buying? and are you just getting to £5 then cashing out?

I wait to get 849 SBs, then cash out for a £5 Amazon voucher. Set a new goal for myself to get a minimum of 121 SBs per day, which will get me a £5 voucher every week.

The 20 point task is one that I always do, it doesn't take long. Most of the other tasks are not worth doing as they take too long for only a few SBs. At least, IMHO :)
R.I.P. Bart. The best cat there ever was.
  • Grrrrr, I'm so annoyed! I was doing so well at this and was planning to put every penny I'd made towards debt but now First Direct have taken £95 from my account for overdraft/bounced DDs last month. So now I'll have to use £95 from my November pot for that.

I guess it's back to ebay for me!
