Anyone know of a decent product to cover tattoos on my hands ?
i have been offered second interview stage for working in a shop and i am worried that my tattoos will ruin things, i managed to keep my hands under the desk at the first interview ! but now i will be doing some practical stuff in an actual shop .

Clearly, you are not going to be able to hide your tattoos if you were given the job, so come clean now. It may or may not influence the selecttion panel but there is little or nothing you can do about it. I would have thought it would look very unnatural hiding your hands at an interview, and/or covering them up with make-up or glovey things at your practical.
You will now get dozens of posts telling you you were stupid to get them in the first place, and a long debate about the rights and wrongs of employers' attitudes to tattoos. Thanks for that!0 -
i am not going to wear glovey things (whatever they are)
but I think I should cover them with some kind of make up , in case I give the wrong 'corporate image' for this store . so if anyone has any reccomendations on a product I can use , I would be greatful thanks .my favourite food is spare ribs0 -
Are they tasteful? They might not mind them too much if they are something delicate.
I would go into a chemist and ask if they have something to cover them.
So many people get tattoos and then want/need to cover them! but having a tattoo is not going to affect your ability to do the job.0 -

Have you thought of googling* 'tattoo cover up make up' or similar?
*Other search engines are available. If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0 -
If you got the job would you be willing to cover them up every working day?0
-
Did you not shake hands with the interviewer at the first interview?
I would say that unless you are willing to cover up your hands on a daily basis should you get the job, you will have to come clean about the fact that you have tattoos.
If you have the ability to do the job, they might overlook the body decoration
Good luck with the interview0 -
Go to the G.P and tell them the problem, they can refer you to dermatology who then can sort you out a masking cream free of charge. They also do this for people who have big port wine marks on their faces etc, and virtilgo etc.0

yes i have googled , but thought someone else may have used a product they might reccomend.
" they might overlook the body decoration "
they might not lol
its kinda like making sure my shoes are clean , the less minus points the better , when i did my driving test i wore a shirt and tie simply because i felt it would make a difference . I passed and it may have made the difference who knows .my favourite food is spare ribs0
