Any leaseholder will tell you management companies take ages to reply.Well it's been just over a week now, since i asked the management team, as to where the clause is to say i can't put a shed up, and they have not replied.Properly cos they have not got one, and are trying to dash around to input it, as they have the money and the knowledge to go to the right people. Or they are expecting us to find it all out.
In your case they don't want to have to pay for a solicitor to work out the clause forbiddening you from doing it.
I was told lots of sh*t by sales people and estate agents when I was looking a properties. One of the funniest was them telling me I could increase the height or remove the fence at the front of a property on a corner of two roads.Spoke to planning people, and they are looking into it. and they said sales team, just wanted a sale, and they dont no all the planning laws.
You would be allowed to have the word "disabled" painted on one of your parking spaces and to park it there. Mobility scooters can go on roads. So when it comes to me getting a mobility scooter, in few years time, are they saying then that i can not put that there too as its not a car??????????????
I'm not cynical I'm realistic

Update, Yes we do have to get planning permission, which we are in the process of doing so, all above bored, the Council have not had a complaint from anybody, and we have not heard from management team for over month now after i asked them the question. The rule was that, when these houses were built, the plans were that they have 2 parking bays, so time will tell.0
