I mean, if we were paying 40+p per kw generated, and now we'd need to only pay 20+p per kw, that's a saving that could be passed on to those who still have to pay for their electricity in the normal way... right?
No! The Government have committed us consumers to pay the 43.3p/kWh to those presently in receipt of that payment, and those who get in before the 08 Dec deadline.
What it will mean is that the ever-increasing loading for 'Green subsidies' on our electricity bills will be not be as much as it might have been. It will still increase, but not at the same rate.0
