that would be good :j0

At wembley they counted the books they were given, put your name and postcode on a sheet and only accepted vouchers as per t&cs as outlined by POPPYOSCAR above.
Lady collecting the books had a problem with me and SIL having the same surname!! No, we do not live together. I don't know what she would have said if mum had been with us. Same surname, same postcode as sil (lives three doors down). Good grief.:wall:0 -
ikea lakeside is doing this offer but i noticed it was only on childrens books, which is a shame!POPPYOSCAR wrote: »Was looking at my local Ikea branch online and noticed that the offer of exchanging 5 books for £5 gift voucher is coming back ( 27th november to 18th dec.)
This was great last time as books don't sell for much at boot sales and we got rid of loads.
Time to dig out those old books gathering dust again!0 -

I went to Edmonton to do this last night at about 8.30pm, so not a busy time you would think. You have take a ticket and queue at the Customer Returns section (where it's a bit like an A&E waiting room, poorly furniture, untidy, lots of annoyed customers, bored kids etc etc) AND A 50 MINUTE WAIT!!!
I didn't bother.
Last time they had someone at the front of the store dedicated to taking the books in but not this time.
Very disappointed IKEA!:starmod: DO IT NOW :starmod:0 -

This was the case at Croydon last year, though their website makes no mention this year (unlike Lakeside's) so was interested in anyone's experience with adult books at Croydon if you've been please!
Thank you : )0 -
Has anyone, apart from "Sorryaboutmywife" been to the Tottenham Ikea this time? Did they have a bad experience too????? Thinking of going but dont want to go and queue for 50mins!0

I went this morning and:
1) Definitely NO shuttle from Tottenham Hale.
2) It was very quiet, no queue, but the SA at the Returns desk checked every book and refused to accept one (as new) which had a handwritten dedication inside; she was very nice, but they have specific instructions from the charity.
So, beware.0
