Business Boardband with out a BT Line

Does anyone know if it is possible to get a Business Boardband connection without having a BT Line? Just moved in and there is no line. BT prices are scretching the budget to far. They want £90 just to install the line. Any alternatives?

You could ask Virgin Media if they will install a cable line for you and you can ask if you can have business broadband.0

Try to get someone that does mpf broadband, which means you can get just the broadband service but no line rentals charges. You still have to have a line installed though.
Failing that, wireless broadband is an option in some places, or you could get a 3g USB dongle from someone. Not sure either of these are what I would class as "business class" though.0 -
They Won't because it's a comercial property. You could ask Virgin Media if they will install a cable line for you and you can ask if you can have business broadband.
I don't want to pay BT installation charge as there is a box with BT written on in the building but they claim there is none and want to charge to install it again. Also BT prices are quiet steep0 -
You could try business data cards for broadband.0

BT dont need my defense but....
£90 for the following
An engineer to go to the exchange, activate (re-wire, plug in etc) a pre existing pair of copper which gets to your building (somewhere), then come to your office, find it, wire it to somewhere convenient (which could be a long cable run to your specific office), put you a box on the wall or rewire an existing one, and test it thoroughly.
By my reckoning that could be anywhere between 1 hour (very best case) and maybe 2 days (worst case), and yet usually, you get charged the same rate. They are paying for a highly qualified engineer, all his equipment, the back office systems to support him etc etc.
By all means look to get it cheaper (sign up to a contract for 24 months and get free line install?), but £90 sounds like good value to me!0 -

take a photo of the BT box and then send this to BT to show them that their is a box in your premises0 -
That's very strange, because I have a Virgin Media BB connection in my work building, and I'm about to have them install BB in another building - what's the problem with a commercial property? What do you mean by that? They Won't because it's a comercial property.Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
