Hi guys
I'm a first timmer to this type os site. I'm looking for some advice...............
Been issued a PCN - for over staying 28 mins, followed all the online advice & ignored all 4 demands for payment from Parking Eye.
Then got letter from Roxburghe debt collectors & numrous text & calls to my mobile!! This was followed by 2 letters from Graham White solicitors 1st was Notice of Intended Litigation the 2nd Final Warning.
Has anyone out there had letters of intended litigation etc??
Must admit I'm getting a little worried now.
Cheers

Yes many many people have had such letters from Graham White.
.
This is not a real Solicitor's firm just one 70 year old plus Solicitor who allows Roxburgh to use his name.
DO NOT WORRY.
If you have Roxburgh/ GW letters you can relax they are all bluff.
IGNORE0 -
Think about it - If the first letter was a "notice of intended litigation" then why havent they carried out their threat and issued court papers instead of another warning? Roxburghe/GW are idiots. Ignore them.0

Thanks guys
I've called Citizens Advice they say I could be taken to court although its very unlikely.
IF I end up in court would be advised by a duty solicitor free of charge and most probably get off.
Going to wait & see what happens for now.
As for the text & calls that's harrassment so i will be telling them that & blocking their number!!0 -
totall nonsense do not worry,,nothing can /will be done, i have a drawer full of loo paper from these clowns,,roxburghe letters are sent out by ,dumb jon(on £3-00 p/hour) and graham white,, is just just janis on the next desk along,as they are the same idiotic people,,hoping to part you from your money,,roll on nov 5th for this loo paper to burn,,along with mr sobell(aka graham white) as the guy,,relax, chill, feet up,,most of all do not worry or pay them one penny.0

Never call Citizens Advice with regard to private parking contractors. CAB may mean well but when it comes to giving advice about private parking 'Mickey Mouse' fines, they are generally clueless.Like the trough feeders of Westminster, CAB have been duped by the Snake Oil salesmen of the British Parking Association.Still waiting for Parking Eye to send the court summons! Make my day!0

Very, very unlikely by all accounts. However you wouldn't get a duty solicitor for this sort of case - represent yourself or fork out for your own brief. Thanks guys

Has anyone out there actually been taken to court by these people????????????
There's lots of info about getting the threatening letters do they ever lead anywhere????
I'm not going to pay. If it does end up in court I'll fight my corner.
Give them some crap like they've given me!!0 -
I'm interested in knowing how they got your mobile telephone number? Surely there are few if any ways of legitimately obtaining a private telephone number?
A good thing about modern smart mobile phones is that you can very easily block calls :-)0 -
think my details was bought from DVLA
I gave my mobile number when taxing my car on line!!
I'm not happy with them!0 -
CAB are useless when asked about private parking. If they are going on about duty solicitors and "getting off" they obviously dont know the difference between a civil court and a criminal one.
You will get much better advice here.
As for the DVLA, nobody should ever give them their phone number. They only want it so they can sell it on to scammers.0
