They're much cheaper on Amazon. £19 in fact."Boonowa tweepi, ha, ha."0 -
Bumping this thread to ask another question about the Sennheisers; I want to replace my rubbish earphones with some less rubbish ones, and the CX300's seem like the best option. I bought some E2C's off ebay last year, but unfortunately the main housing of the earphone is too big to fit comfortably in my ears, which means I can't really use them for a prolonged commute comfortably. I don't have tiny ears or anything, but these seem to've been designed for a slightly larger male ear. Can anyone who has the CX300's advise on the size of the housing and how comfortable they are to wear?2015 comp wins - £370.25

Thanks to everyone who posts freebies and comps! :j0 -
Just be aware that if you decide on the CX300's, Sennheiser don't sell OEM ones on Ebay, so any that aren't in full packaging are fake.Dave. :wave:0

Thanks for that - will probably see if they'll let me try them on at the Apple store then buy them on Amazon where they're cheaper!2015 comp wins - £370.25

I bought a pair of Sony in-ear bud headphones which sound very good.
Probably not as good as Sennheiser or Shure, but worth the £25 I paid around 3 years ago for them.
Tried some Philips noise cancelling headphones too. Terrible waste of money IMHO.0 -
I have to agree with a few other posters here - I recently bought the Shure E2C earphones and they are perfect for commuting: excellent sound qualiy for the price, and they really cut down on background noise by forming a good seal in your ear. I even use them on the bus in the mornings without playing any music, just for a bit of peace and quiet!
Also, as the earphones are NOT "noise cancelling", they don't require extra batteries.
If you are thinking about trying a pair, the E2C 'phones are the consumer version of the E2, and are identical (except in colour and length of cable) to various other similar model numbers (E2-N and E2-G or Gaming Edition, if I remember correctly).
If they do ever break, I might even take the next step up and go for the E3 'phones... though they're very sturdily made so will probably last for years.
Hope this helps...0 -
The Bose in ears are very comfy and sound is good, no noise canceling but as they fill your ear they do help. A little expensive but are very good.
I do like the bose QC2's noise canceling headphones. which I also have a pair of and they are awesome but stupidly expensive. I tried a pair of the QC3's on holiday and almost bought them considering they are on ear rather than full ear cup the sound and noise canceling is just as good if not better.0
