Im actually a she!!! Small point but worth mentioning!
I want to thank everyone for their help on here. I would have spent far too much money buying the Windows XP if it wasn't for all of you explaining about OEM's. I bought a mouse with my operating system. Whether they should have sold me it this way I don't know and is another debate.
I have formatted the hard drive and it is now up and running with the proper Windows Home XP. My daughter will be able to download the updates and be able to download all the latest bumph without having to worry about Microsoft 'finding out'!!!
A big thank you everyone!!!! You've saved me money which is the point of this website!!! :T:0
