Not so good for me today...

    £3.20 on milk.
£46 on petrol and "other stuff"... :o

Ok, part of the "other stuff" was a pair of snug (read: tight) weather-proof gloves (£1.99 down from £5.99 if you spent at the petrol station). But 90p was on choccy type of stuff. :naughty:

Maybe he didn't have any more blanks.

He had loads of blanks. He asked me how many of each I needed, found the right blanks, had them all lined up and then had a bit of a paddy after cutting one key. Amusing and weird!
Ever wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.

My budget for today was 60p. Yes, thats right, 60p. This was deliberate to allow myself to get a can of coke for the afternoon. I never eat breakfast anyway and lunch was two bowls of cereal. I didnt take any more money into work or any cashcards.

I have yet to set my budget for tomorrow. Its likely to be the cost of two large boxes of cereal plus 60p.
  • Evenin' All,

Today I spent £1.65 on a sausage sandwich and a latte :o I really must stop going into the canteen at work!

I also spent £40 on a second hand mobile phone. Mine gave up the ghost completely and a colleague had a motorola razr for sale. I'm taking this out of my emergeny money though. So won't impact on this week's budget.

Edit: Just remembered I bought orange juice and a couple of hot choc sachets too = £1.00

    That's very odd crawley-girl! I think you've got a bit of a psycho key-cutter there!!

I've been good today - not a no spend day unfortunately but I just bought some fruit, veg, bread, and tissues (hubby has man-flu.....it has apparently mutated from the cold I had a couple of days ago lol), and was in and out of the store within 10 minutes. Can't remember how much I spent, but less than £10, and I didn't buy anything unnecessary - hurray!!!
