postingalwaysposting wrote:i did it looking ahead... i brought some shoes :T and technically i didnt pay for them as mum gave me some of some money that she owes me back... i had to pop to the bank anyway and the shoe shop next door (shoefarye) we dont ever go in but i thought i would have a looksie and we found a pair exactly the same as in the other shop for £10 (the same price)
but then i looked around a bit more and found a pair more suited for work ie thicker soles... thicker leather... and much more sturdier... they were £15 but... i did a but of a naughty and got both
because i cant drive with thick soles (was using my broken shoes for this too)... i have tryed with my trainers (skater trainers) and i cant do it so... i got the £10 ones for driving and the £15 ones for work but if i break any of the pairs i have a back up :T so a bit of a naughty but some people will spent £50 on a new pair  so i did quite good... did regret it a but though but needs must... i am not counted that as my spend budget though as i brought them from money i didnt think i would have....
but i am not happy  the bus company has increased my bus ticket by £4
i knew they were going to do it but that now works out £2.40 per jounery... not much of a saving now
this spend was budgeted £40 but i needed two tickets so i was short to get two so i only got one but hopefully mum will be able to give me some more of the money she owes me to buy one near the middle of next month
so now we get there :rotfl: why are my posts getting longer and longer  out of my budgeted weekly spends i spent £1.39 ~ £1 on a key chain hook thing... so i can wear my new trousers to work (has no pockets) and hook my keys on the belt holder and then 39p on fresh apple juice... mmmm
not bad £1.39 :T mum payed for my soup stuff... and that was only 89p as we had most of the stuff in the cupboards
have a good day all
LOL!!!!! Your post reminded me of me! Trying to justify why you need 2 pairs of shoes... if you need them then you need them and if you don't then you don't! Stop trying to convince us and be happy with your decision
Me - I've spent £3.99 on getting a key cut... so blinking expensive! And I will need to go back and get 3 more cut 2moro cos they guy in there said that he couldn't do it - all very strange indeed! Surely if you can cut 1 ket then you can cut 3 more... or maybe there is some key cutters law about the amount you can do it one day or something. Am sure someone will pop along and tell me why...
:heartpuls CG :heartpulsEver wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.0 -

Anyhoo, so far today, I've spent £1 on some carrots and a turnip. OH was getting a bit fed up of just sprouts, cabbage and broccoli with every meal.
Although my experimental home wind farm was producing some promising results. :rotfl:
