How Much Have/Will You Spend Today Tuesday 23rd January

£3.30 on lunch. I'm going to try and not spend on lunch for the rest of the week, but today is kind of a treat because I seem to be doing quite well generally on the whole debt repayment thing. I also noticed that I'd budgeted another £80 or so repayment from my next paycheck, which I don't remember doing! Money tends to crop out throughout the month, if I sell stuff on ebay for instance, so if I can take my paycheck and then scatter it to the four corners, leaving just a dribble of spending money remaining, it makes me re-evaluate my circumstances part way through the month, which can be no bad thing.
Looking forward to being paid tomorrow though - I get to do all my geek debt stuff in one go.
Also have some other stuff to look forward to - my mum's 50th this weekend, seeing Evil 9 friday night (already paid for), and the new Shins album coming out next monday...Student Loan Company Ltd: 17,805 (2.8%) Overdraft: 500 (Interest free)

Glad you got the shoes PAP. Come on don't give yourself a hard time you have two pairs of shoes at a bargain price really and we all *need* footwear. Your others were literally falling to bit, you must not give yourself any grief over this. Good idea to keep the old broken ones for driving though as it will cut back on scuffs on /reheeling of the new ones.
Bummer re: the bus fare increase
I can relate to that as I use the bus every day (mostly). I guess we'll be due a rise at some point too. :rolleyes:Bank Balance: In the black for the moment.
Sainsburys Loan: Cleared July 2010
Credit cards: AMEX Airmiles Card: direct debit set to clear balance monthly

thanks la... now thinking about it i think they were fab buys and i am going to be much more comfy in work
i wont need them reheeling (thank my dna for that) this was part of the problem... i have very wide feet so i buy mens shoes but not many are avalible in size 6... so no reheeling here ever *offically never owned a pair of lady shoes*
yeah it is but last year they went up 4 times  when i was at college i used to buy the same ticket (10 journey) for £12... working out £1.20 per journey (on the bus it was nearly £2 a journey) now though i pay £24 and they work out at £2.40 per journey... i go 10 stops
never mind hey... all the money i am saving and spending on driving lessons should change this spend to insurance/tax/repairs/petrol etc etc i know it will cost more but it saves going to work an hour and a half before i need to be there :rotfl: 0 -
