Im not continuing the argument here, The guy was very upset about peoples reaction to what he thought would help other people and has pm'd me about this. He genuinly was trying to help and everyone jumped down his throat. I posted it here because i was just trying to show i was trying to say the same has the original poster of this thread.

Anyway thats my final word on it and im not going to keep trying to explain to people who clearly dont want to listen.

Pardon??? I dont know the guy, Ive never sold/bought anything from the site he mentioned and i definitly hadnt heard of the site until yesterday. Im not even a memebr of it. Please can this stop now i am really getting upset about this, I was just trying to get a point across and everyone keeps starting on me. I came here to save money and make friends and all i get is abuse when i open my mouth

I posted an ebay similar site recently, that i got told about, and i didn't get insulted

Hi salena

I am a Board Guide on the eBay board and I actually closed that thread as it was becoming abusive and unproductive. There are other threads on the eBay board that discuss the pros and cons of Ebid.

I can't see that starting this thread over on the Freebies board really helps the issue, to be honest, although I'm sure that you had the best of intentions.

My advice on that thread and to anybody that sees a post that they feel is being offensive or abusive to another poster is to send the link to [EMAIL="abuse@moneysavingexpert.com"]abuse@moneysavingexpert.com[/EMAIL]

The same response is needed if posters believe that any posts are 'spam' or advertising posts where the poster stands to make some personal gain.

Hi there...well i would just like to to say to "Riffs" I dont give a rats bum about thanks, IN FACT if any moderators are reading perhaps they can remove it. I am not surprised to see some of the replies, on looking at some posters other posts (just click on their name) it seems that no matter what anyone does/says/writes about,they cannot help themselves but be nasty.
