After the banks have recapitalised their vaults over the last 2 years of super low interest rates it appears that they are about to open the flood gates to the housing market. Buy now if you can or forever rent (or be a stay at mummies home man-baby).

Dont come rushing round my neck of the woods with your fancy new mortgage to snap up a cheap gaf.

You would end up with a word spray painted across the front of your new house within the week i expect:)

    Weird baby:)

JimmyLad I'd only be round your neck of the woods if I was visiting your mum. By all accounts, she's very accommodating.

Well according to Graham thanking someone's post is as good as a civil partnership. Where do you fancy going on honeymoon?

Awww, pretty bitter about it all. More total exaggeration!! I'm sorry, I'll never pick you up on your hypocritical stance again....of course you can follow me around picking me up on everything as you do if that makes you feel better....would you like a hug?

I'm sorry Graham but someone who take note of who 'thanked' a post from two weeks ago cannot take the moral highground. Frankly it's a bit obsessive and a bit creepy. Do you have detailed 'thank' files on every forum member?

I imagine that some deposit savers are willing to pay more for their mortgage in exchange for shortening their saving time.

It's funny how things change. These 90% mortgages look quite expensive compared to the market but historically they are pretty competitive.

But the real comparison should be rent versus mortgage, not poor rate mortgage versus better rate mortgage.

Paying higher repayments due to a high LTV may well be less than the rent they would otherwise pay. They also benefit from any price uplift.

The idea should be to remortgage once the equity can be raised to benefit from a better rate. That should be fairly easy to revalue and have the lender adjust the percentage and thus the rate but it does require an element of future planning.

More exaggeration! And it gets better.

Taking notes!? Thanks files?! I found the thread because I specifically remembered the difference between the outcome of posting such a deal and looked at who had put their name behind it being a sh*t deal.

If that makes me a stalker, so be it. I'm a stalker. Maybe we could come up with a name for me? Or are you quite happy at the moment with this pretence that I have some kind of thanks file where I note who's thanked what?

It's nice to see people putting so much effort into their posts though.

I made my point that the stance changes dependant on who has posted the thread. I then proved my point. The reason for all this nonsense about thanks files and stalkers is simply because I have highlighted the hypocrisy (and its plain for all to see) and there is nothing left to do but to try and tarnish a name by going to extreme, and somewhat immature lengths.

Methinks the lady doth protest too much.
