You can head over to XDA developers forums and ask around there.

I'm a bit of an Android specialist if that helps, so feel free to ask me if you want.
What device do you have?
To answer some of your questions:
There is a Skype App. It now works with rear facing cameras (if you don't have a front one on your device).
There is an MSN style app.
Adobe Flash is an app that can be downloaded too.0 -
http://android.modaco.com/ is another forum.
Not all devices can run flash. It depends on which processor is used, however there are some unofficial versions which will work.0 -
Theres a few android forums around, not sure if they have a sub forum for 2.2.0

Have you checked you have the latest verision of the Skype App? The video enabled one was released not that long ago. Go to market, menu, my apps, and look for any that need an update0

Skype video only works with a small number of devices, or it did when I looked about 3 weeks ago.
My t mobile pulse with front facing camera and droid 2.2 won't do video for example.0
