Yes, you always had to collect different ones every week.

But you can buy extra ones for £0.99 with your large meal (although I am not sure whether you can just go in and buy 1 without buying the large meal)....always a chance you can find someone ordering a large meal and pay them 99p to buy you a glass!

I've been collecting them the past few years and rather than breaking it seems that my flatmate has been nicking them!!!

its running for 3 weeks. so its 2 a week.
the other day, we got the 1899 ones without the stickers for cokezone so my husband asked for ones with codes and they gve us a different design which we already had so he went back and they gave us the 1955. the first time he asked he got the 'thats the only one we have' but luckily the manager was a few steps away and was incredibly helpful.
Hopefully they'll hve some 1899 ones left as I'd like to collect them.

i would watch kids with them as with any glass but i have glasses from years ago. my glasses have been dropped on carpeted floor from arm height and survived the can glasses were very robust. they are dishwasher safe and i have never had one break yet i don't think. my favorites are the "can" glasses! i dont usually use MacDonald's but when my brother goes i give him an extra pound and he buys me a glass (they let you buy an extra one for 99p with your meal)

I collect the glasses as I'm a cokezone saver, whilst many cokezone UK prizes are quite rubbish in terms of ratio to value needed.
But there are 6 glasses, two availiable each week -
1899, 1900 Week 1
1906, 1955 Week 2
196?, 1996 Week 3

I'm hoping to pick up the week 3's tomorrow when I go do my banking - the main CS staff in my local McDonalds know me quite well and are very helpful for me.

i have to agree with some of the above posts... our glass snapped down the side as we were washing it...in a plastic washing up bowl.... hadnt even used it yet! flimsy:mad:

i wont bother getting any then, they used to be good, go back and tell them it was cracked when you got it (you went through the drive thru) i once took an empty box and they gave me another glass i hadnt even broken the first one i just saw someone else do it and thought i would try my luck x
