Should i go back to British Gas?

Last year i switched both my gas & elec from B.G. to Southern electric.Have been contacted by B.G. asking me to switch back saying i will be switched over in time to take advantage of their price reductions in the spring,also no standing charge and £30 pounds of fuel for my car.Does this sound like a good offer? any ideas/info welcome.Thanks.

Probably not. Look on Uswitch for the current rates. Do you maths for your usage patterns.

I Bet they didn't tell you that if you miss a payment for any reason that they will charge a whopping £5 to send you a red one.

Translation: We will be reducing our prices in the spring. We want you to commit to switching before you find out by how much. We also don't want you to wait and see what other suppliers will be offering at that time.

try scottish power , ive just switched to them this week after bg announced they were putting up my bills up ,

British Gas - even their own engineer visiting my property recently commented that "they're *r*p, always making c**kups". Energy Ombudsman that I had cause to complain to recently ... I swear I heard him groan when I began "I'm with British Gas..."

Yep, I agree - NOT BG. I'm in the middle of switching both gas and electricity to Ebico...

Anything but BG ! Poor service AND high prices. Use uswitch to find the cheapest supplier for your level of gas and electricity usage.
