  • audio book - what format?
what is the cd going to be put in?
    size shouldnt matter
    what software you using?
    etc
  • I see it as the audiobook being in mp3 format, but checking the CD-Rs I have, they are 700mb. Only thing I can see wrong is that the audiobook is longer than the 80 min audio limit on CD-Rs.

  • If gonna play in a normal player [ie not mp3-cd player] you will have to split the audiobook.

Try this [shareware - free trial before none use or you pay] http://www.yaosoft.com/ or google 'mp3 splitter' [or download.com].

Once you have the softyware split into 70-80 min parts and then you convert to .wav file. Nero/Musicmatch/goole 'mp3 to wav' [or download.com].

Then you can burn and it should work.
  • How long is the mp3?

If you have any trouble with that, give the Audiobook Cutter a try.
  • if memory serves mp3 is roughly a meg a minute.so you have over 5 hours of audio.

I got 'Sharpes Tigers' out of the Library as an Audio Book and it was on 12 CD's so that will give you an idea of how many you need. I converted it to MP3 using Windows Media Player and then dragged it onto my MP3 player and listened from there
