    Hi, for once on the internet I was glad to have to scroll down hundreds of names (then pages) to get to this point. Rather re-assuring I aint the only one. :D

    Just registered with the site yesterday and have spent hours today working out just how bad my debt is. Finally full of resolve to get rid of it.

    Please can I join the Nerds? I think I can do it, but I'll need all the help I can get.

    From 'What's the Cost?' calculator, my total debt is £21,596, and according to that, I can, amazingly, pay it off in 22 months!! Can this be true? I'm on a good salary, but heading for retirement, so don't want to start with a load of debt.

    Anyway - this is the first day of the rest of my life ... and I'm so glad this site is here!!
