hi, can i be a nerd too??? i seem to spend every waking second on this website these days. My lightbulb moment was the 1st of July 2008, but only just starting to put a real dent in to the debts

hi all,what agreat relief finding this site.can i get a number too.
I got in to debts becase it was so easy,i have been silly with my money even i make lots of it.Even though my wife calls me stingy i have been very generous to friends and relatives.i am owed over 40k and i cannot get it backi went in to debts after bad bussiness deals and spread betting..i run a total debts of 72k mainly credits card and 2 unsecured loans.my creditors are mbna loan,egg loan,barclaycard,monument,capital one,lyods tsb credits card and so on.
I was doing ok till this september when i opened a my second shop invested alot money.the bussines wasnot as good as i expected so i started to struggle.I realised i was paying over 2k on credits cards and loan a month and was not getting anywhere.
then i started to miss the payment and was even opening letters.
i contacted the payplan they are drafting the dmp for me.my payments will be 1k amonth and i can make lumpsump payments.I opened a basic account with hbsc.but refused for bussines account.Does anybody know where i can open a bussines account without the credit checks as i need to have a cheque book to pay the rent and payee insurance.i dont need an overdraft facility.

Please may I sign up? I've been a DFW fence-sitter for some time now (my LBM came with a dimmer switch ) but the MSE electricians :money::money::money: (that's them - nice boys!) have been in and have removed the dimmer switch and replaced the lightbulb with an energy efficient one (I believe it was a freebie...) so I'm feeling more ready now than I ever have been before! BRING ON THOSE DEBTS!! :D:D (One at a time, please, creditors - form an orderly queue!)
I'm quite happy to sit quietly in a corner with a flask of coffee (so I don't need to keep boiling DFW's kettle - and the coffee was BOGOF) - I'll be no trouble, I promise!

ETA - The comment about the electricians made me think 'How many MSE's does it take to change a lightbulb?' - but I guess I'll need to start a new thread for that one! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
