Any ideas for the mixed winter veg? They're sort of roasting veg. I was thinking a casserole or a soup...anything tried and tested would be lovely :)

Think I might try to adapt this:

How about a curried soup? Do you have a slow cooker? IF so, just put the veg in the SC, with some stock, curry powder and ground cumin )

I'm making a tomato pasta bake and a spicy rice and beans meal today. This will be my lunch and dinner for today and tomorrow. I thought I might need to buy jalapenos but I found some I had sliced up and put in a little tupperware box in the freezer.:T

Got rid of a box of chilli today. If OH gets home before the greengrocers closes we will get bananas and start making a dent in all the frozen fruit in our freezer by having smoothies for breakfast!

Ooooh I've never made one of those! Great idea :j

Tonight we're having Thai Red curry (out of the freezer) and some tofu (which probably expired yesterday or something) with some brown rice. Going shopping today but all I need is toilet paper, cotton buds and oil.

I'm going to update my above post and use it as a sort of freezer inventory, then when my cupboard gets manageable(!) I'll add what I have in there.

I made a vegetable crumble last night and it was delicious! The crumble was made out of the usual flour and marg, but I added some crushed walnuts and sesame seeds to it. Yum.

Did you use tomatoes in the bottom? We have plenty of walnuts, and probably some sunflower and pumpkin seeds (no sesame though) so I'll give it a go!

I used carrots, swede, sweet potato and some leftover lentil pasta sauce. Any seeds (or none) would be fine in the crumble. I normally add some oats into the crumble mix but didn't last night.
