Boots Grabbit Bargains Thread part 5 - post your finds here

There are no botanics bars (never been any!) or cheap shaving gel left in my local boots, but I did find tubes of purifying clay mask type stuff for 1.99 each. They are the cheapest things i've found. Plus they are a bit different from all the other lotions I've been 'buying'!. They are with the bath products in my store.

I did find the pink ones in another store and bought 2 then used those to buy 2 more with the vouchers,did this twice so 6 bags in all,but when i got home found that the points had not gone on.
Rang advantage card helpline today,but the say they can't add that many on 1000.
They said however many did you have and where did you get them from.
I told her from the bags but they won't add them on.
They told me to return to the store which is 35 miles away.
They said i could send my reciepts and they would look into it but im not sure if i should.

just tried 641 cashier said there was a mistake with the computer and wouldnt let me purchase the goods in one transaction, she said the error was notified yesterday and should have been fixed.

I've just checked my receipts and mine haven't been added either:mad: I have just read the T&C and it says not to be used with any other offer or discount. the SA should have given it back :mad: :mad:

Yes thats what i thought at least we could have used them on something else.
We still have the 300 on vitamins though.

Just a quick update for any Preston Bootsers.

Rang Deepdale this morning, as they had said on Monday that they were due a delivery this morning, and they had run out of glossy lock and lip/eye shimmers. However although they've had the delivery, they haven't got any of those

So went to Preston Fishergate instead. Managed to pick up my No7 items without the No7 lady noticing as she was busy with someone else - got 2 lip shimmers and 3 glossy locks, no more £5.50 items so had to get something else. Looked upstairs with the suncare too, but no cheap No7 up there.

Tried to pay at the till upstairs, but immediately when I put my 6 things on the counter, she said I would have to pay separately. I pretended I'd forgotten something and had to carry on shopping, then went downstairs to try my luck at pharmacy counter.

Pharmacy lady was really nice, asked how much they were and said what a good bargain. However I'd left my Advantage card upstairs..noooo! So did transactions and she validated the receipts for points. Then I went back upstairs to get my card (didn't want to lose it as I've got £300 on there!), then back downstairs to pharmacy to get points added as I didn't want to risk showing my receipt to anyone else.

She also gave me back most of the vouchers once used(!). So I had some £5/£3 vouchers left, and my 300pts vitamin voucher back too! So went round again.

Still no magazines but they had the Change One Thing leaflets - tons of all colours, but only a handful of Green ones. I got the last £1.69 vitamins but there were plenty of others for £1.99.

No cheap Frizz Ease left either, but plenty of the £2.99 Trevor Sorbie sprays. STILL no body bars boo hoo.

Can anyone tell me what im best using the £16 No7 voucher (I got with the parenting club ) on?? Does it have to be one thing only or can i use it to the value? Also am i better holding out till the new bag promo thing starts?? Many thanks, Ezzmo
