Another disappointing Boots shop last night. Spent £22.00, used double points voucher for the second time and noticed before I left the till that it hadn't worked as there were no extra points. Also my receipt still said I had used my coupon once and could use it once more before 27th February. I pointed this out twice to the SA who said that the coupon had worked when clearly it hadn't. I tried to explain that if it had worked, I would have recieved 174 points and not 87, but he kept telling me that it was fine and kept my voucher. I felt like a right idiot - even though I knew I was right - but didn't have the gumption to keep insisting.:embarasse Exactly the same thing happened to me last time I used a double points voucher.

Should I complain and, if so, what number do I call please?

write to customer services or ring if you're brave. I wrote and they added the points on!

Help! I am fairly steaming mad because I bought two aromatherapy items (pillow mist mini and purple bath essence, both a quid) on two separate transactions, only to find later that the 100 points vouchers hadnt worked.
As so many posters have said that customer services have been helpful and added points when they rang them, tried that. Got a bloke, he said he couldnt add any points on because he didnt have the paper receipt. I said surely you could see it on the computer and he said something about seeing the transaction the day after, but when I said I would call back, he said he still wouldnt add the points on. Very unhelpful. Should I write a complaint letter do you think? He said I had to go back to a store to get them added on, which is very inconvenient.
What would you all do? It puts me off using the machine since you cant rely on it.
Aromatherapy vouchers are the ones which state ANY item from the range.

    Write instead!

Also, are they still giving out the £2.50 skincare vouchers? I didn't get one last night with my £22.00 of shopping.

I wouldn't be surprised if I have this nightmare tonight. I am already feeling panicky because I'm snowed in today and haven't had my daily fix of Boots:cry: I'm worried all the Sanctuary stuff will be gone by the time I get there and I haven't bought a single Sanctuary item. I'm still trying to work out which vouchers to use. If I buy 3 items on 3 4 2 do I need to spend 10.00 before 3 4 2 kicks in or after, in order to use the 2.00off voucher from the wrap? Has anyone used the 200p from AC machine plus the 200p from change one thing and the 2.00off voucher in the same transaction? I really don't want to end up arguing over points again, if I can help it!

Has anyone bought the 8.00 peel today and got a wrap free? I need (?) another wrap:D

    I bought 3 x £4.50 items (cheapest they had) £9 after 342.
Used £2 off, 200 acm and 200 cot but only the £2 off and the acm voucher would work, girl did try to scan both but must not work together.

    Hope this helps someone:rolleyes:

OO EK, Yes you should still be given them, still got plenty of shelf life left on them yet!! I would ring CS up to be honest, you did quite a big spend, could you have split it up? or was it one or two more expensive items, you could have got 4 if able to split? Good Luck.;)

    7) When you get the mens shaving foam just because its FREE with voucher and use it on YOUR legs.
:j I sometimes give myself admirable advice, but am incapable of taking it.

    8) When you find yourself in Tesco (again) frantically looking at the reduced toiletries desperate to find Sanctuary or Botanics reduced so you can use your points vouchers. (WHICH YOU HAVE IN YOUR HAND!)
