  • This is reduced in the stores, all of that range is and also all the other shower gels, I had a voucher through the post for 100 points when you bought a certain mens shower gel that used to be £1.69 but now is 99pence so effectively they gave me a penny to take it away result!!!

Well after trying to hold out I finally gave in and used some of my points to get the No.7 Wrap. No £7.50 Sun stuff (as far as I could see) so spent ages trying to decide what to buy and how to do it so I got as close to £15 as possible. Ended up getting a lipstick and a cleanser which came to £15.25!

Like the rest of you I'm now in love with it! :D

PS. No.7 lady was very nice to me but then it was a different lady to the one I'd seen before.

PPS. The store seemed to have hundreds of the Wraps on various displays - this was in Darlington.
  • Help - another points question. My OH gave me a double points voucher that I can use twice :j ..... will that also mean I get double points on any vouchers e.g. will a 100 points Botanics voucher magically become a 200 points voucher ?!

Tenzing, what are the details of the camera / memory card link-save please????

    Sounds interesting!!!!

The camera is a Vivitar 3360 - £49.99, so 4999 points, and memory card is Boots Sd256mb which was £15.29, so 1529 points - saving of £1.70, 170 points.

It was great to get a saving without trying! (ie: without chatting on here to work it all out, or dreading the SA would say "no").

It's a good camera - 3mb, which is better spec than the (then) expensive Olympus one I bought a few years ago.

As far as I know, they only double your normal purchase points, not special offer points.

No the double points only work on 'base' points, not on extra points. I normally try to save my double points voucher till a triple points weekend and save up my shopping for then too to get a 5 x points bonanza!!! :rotfl:

Dratt! Scuttled off to Notting Hill Gate to see if they had anything different from the Kensington one (and to try some Tesco coupon discounts) - and the bleedin' Boots was shut due to a power cut!

Consoled myself with a couple of Frijj milkshakes from tesco, tried to use a voucher, it didn't go thru. :(

Tomorrow, i shall defeat them both again!

I think the Notting Hill branch of Boots is having a refit - that's what a SA told me last week anyway. I work across the road from there.

COOkie, You're brave trying to use vouchers in Tesco Notting Hill LOL I've only ever used a voucher at that branch on one occasion. It was a good job I actually bought the product too (a magazine) as the SA ran over as soon as he saw me scan the voucher and gave it a good inspection before I was allowed to put it in the slot. Have you noticed there's always a big bouncer type fellow sitting at a computer screen near the entrance to the store? I wouldn't have thought they'd have much trouble from customers in Notting Hill:confused:
