  • Can anyone tell me where you get a copy of these Change one thing booklets I keep hearing about? Also, the Boots magazine, is it free with any purchase or do you have to spend a certain amount?

I had a quick scan of the first post but couldn't see any reference to these.

Thanks in advance to any replies :)

Boots Mag is £1 (ha!) or free to Advantage card holders. Just take it along to the till with your AC and they'll scan it to let you have it free.

The Change one Thing Booklets are small little things, about the size of a credit card (or stack of them, to get thickness). They're in about 5 colours: Grey, orange, green, blue and (i think?) pink according to different things you can change. Should be on a prominant display somewhere near tills perhaps since they're keen on promoting it.

Ooo, just got a reply from Boots regarding an email saying I had points to collect from online shopping, and when i went to the ACM it didn't seem to tell me I'd got points.... (presumed it might've been from a trip to Boots and the ACM machine the previous week). Seems that must've been it:
Thank you for emailing us. If you need to contact us again, please
quote your customer reference number xxxxxxx.

I apologise for the delay with my response, we always endeavour to

After checking through our records, I believe the email in question is

However , you have already collected these points from our Advantage
    Point Machines.

We are not currently aware with any problems with our email service,
but I have passed details of this delayed message to our Boots.com Team.
They have assured me that the matter will be discussed in their next
    review.

Thank you again for bringing this to my attention. If you
have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me
    personally on the number below.

    Kind regards,

Ah well, no points lost, so all is well :) I'd totally forgotten about that!

  • Had a really good points shop today. Used the No7 parenting voucher to calm skin gel which was £16 so I could get the free wrap and there was a voucher in the ACM for 250 extra points on that item as well.
Smile toothpaste is on 3for2 as well and it has a voucher in the ACM. If you get the cheapest item which is toothpaste at 59p you pay £1.18 for 3 tubes of paste and get an extra 100 pts.
I spent £22.23 and using about 4 different vouchers from the ACM managed to get 596 pts just today!
    April £5 a day challenge- £15.05/£150
