FloFlo wrote:Your best bet is to pop over to ebay and pick up some cheap. Not me, but I suspect a few others are selling theirs on and good luck to them. Asking for freebies from people who worked pretty hard to travel around and work out the best deals for themselves is a bit cheeky. I expect they would rather pass any surplus onto family and friends. Mine is safely tucked away until I can afford a holiday.
TBH i felt a bit cheeky asking, but as another user suggested i should come onto this thread i thought there would be no harm in trying as there are a lot of lovely people that come onto this site.
There are also the not so nice members like webuserisme that tbh put me of posting on this site altogether.
Sorry if i offended anybody by asking for a bottle of suncream!0 -

You certainly didn't offend me, as you say I thought it was a bit cheeky, the suncream wasn't actually free it was a glitch that heavily reduced the price. I think its still on bogoff and you might be able to get 2 bottles and the free No 7 gift for around £10 depending on the sun cream you want.

My mum is now the proud owner of a bag full of sun lotion and lip shimmer - I have no idea what she is going to do with it, she won't fly and doesn't like sitting out in the sun. I have a sneaking suspicion that she plans to flog it to the oaps at bingo.lol.0

My chances of a foreign holiday this year are zero...but we do actually get sunny days in this country so my Boots haul is all mine all mine2008 gig list... Nickelback + Staind (OMG...Staind ROCKED!!), Roger Waters, Infadels, Pendulum, The Police, K T Tunstall, Breed 77, Biffy Clyro....oh, and Motorhead0 -
anta wrote:Same happened for me. T&C's said it can't be used two times on the same day! Of course, when I used it, I forgot about this  So everytime I buy anything, I see this on my receipt too
Same here. And every time I get a receipt the SA always tells me I have a voucher I can use again when I don't because another SA kept it! Quite frustrating when I think of the points I've lost. I know what happened. I used a few vouchers in the same transaction and she put them all in till.April £5 a day challenge- £15.05/£1500 -
for those carbooting their Boots haul - did you see a post on this thread about being a registered trader to do this or something?
Or have I just made that up?!

donna wrote:Hello,
i have just received a tip to come over to this board re boots suncream. Apparently there was a glitch at boots and loads of lucky MSEers got loads of free suncream.
Hi, just wanted to say that I do understand it can be hard to even afford a holiday, let alone the extras that you need to take with you - but, I wouldn't call the suncream, or any of the other bargains that you read about, 'free'. It's taken me ages to read and understand the thread, find a Boots branch that stocks the items (I have to travel 20+ miles as the local branches are very small), spend time in the store sorting out what to buy with what, queue up and worry about if it will go thru, then travel home again. Most of the things I am not using myself will go to family, or be carbooted - the proceeds will help pay for my holiday. Please, no-one take offence - of course there's never any harm in asking, but as I said - nothing is free!0 -

Thanks FloFlo that sounds like a great offer. 2 bottles would probably do us for the week as i think at least 1 day is forecast as rain so far.
I have also checked on ebay, not much on there and probably wouldn't arrive by Wednesday.0
