I suppose this question isn't technically related to Boots but I just wondered where you get your baskets, etc from that you put all your Boots goodies in to give as presents?

    Thanks
Hi Sammyc, Do you have a Dunelm Mills near you as they do some nice baskets which are lined with fabric starting at £1.99. You could also get some plain or patterened cellophane from the florist to give your gift a professional touch. Normally about 50p per metre.

I scan all the stacks of baskets by the doors ever since I was heading out of the store and found a discarded voucher in one of them... i wonder how crazy i'd look if i saw one trapped right in the bottom basket and insisted on taking each out in turn until I reached it :rotfl:
Cookie-we re mad anyway so id go for it. i spent 15 minutes wandering round holding a bottle of shampoo made a bloke whose name i cant pronounce let alone spell with the bottle looking like it was something id just bought for the "weekend" from ann summers just so i could use up a voucher id found under a box of tissues on the counter!!!!!!! I wasn sane to start with but my link with the real world has well and truly been severed now!!!!

I want the glyco peel thing-a-me-jig.... will it work just buying that one item and the wrap, or is that too suspicious for any SA's knowing the £15 spend rule?

Thanks everyone for all of the great information. I have just returned, exhausted, with a bag full of goodies.

    Transaction 1:
No7 Face After sun x2 BOGOF £7.50 + No7 giftbag wrap - £5 No7 voucher = £2.50 (I think that this is the best giftbag in ages as the bag and contents are really nice). A Troll SA followed me around the store and said to me that when I wanted to purchase the No7 products and free bag that I would need to go through her till 'to make sure that the free gift went through'. So I put the items through the till but she refused to scan the giftbag until I purchased another £7.50 worth of No 7. I told her that I would think about it and put all the items back into my basket ... and then went to a till on the other side of the store in pharmacy! So - be warned, stay clear of the No7 counters when trying this one!

    Transaction 2, 3 and 4:
Umberto Dazzling Shine £3.99 - £3 hair voucher + 100 points from machine = 99p (thanks to everyone that wrote in about this deal)

    Transaction 5, 6:
Tony and Guy Hair Glue on reduction at £1.49 each, so £2.98 - £3 hair voucher + 300 points from machine!!
(I surprised myself today when I sort of figured out this glitch on my own. Perhaps I am finally getting the hang of this!)

So, spent £4.50 (from a giftcard) and got 900 points and a lot of stuff! ... Now I just need to hide it all before my OH gets home from work :)
    I :heart2: Waitrose
