I was a little sad in boots today as I lined up with my last £5/3 voucher in hand but also quite relieved i think.

No more snooping down aisles for the best deals-
No more slyly and ever so quietly snatching no7 products from behind the back of the no7 prison guard(watch out SHES BEHIND YOU!)-
No more sculking in the corner, dropping my vouchers all over the place as i try to work out the best combinations!!!

    No I was relieved
Im bogged off with BOGOF and my brain is addled by 341,342,641 I cant even count 1 2 3 anymore.
Handed everything over ,content that id just made the £5 threshold for new voucher-except that the reduced 20p toothpaste was 3 42 so grabbed tissues. Oh what a relief-Its all over for now
OH GOD WHATS THAT PEEKING OUT FROM THE BOX OF TISSUES-NOOOO!! ANOTHER £3 VOUCHER-My hand shot out as if it had a life of its own grabbed it and off I went again.
Haircare was alright but i found another bloody £5 skincare one in the haircare section.GOD ALMIGHTY IS THERE NO WAY OUT OF THIS SHOP.IS THIS MY LIFE FROM NOW ON!!!
Last transaction and my exit from the place was conducted with my eyes placed somewhere just below ceiling level-i really didnt want to chance seeing anymore vouchers!!!!!!!!!!

LOL rockyrose, I know just how you feel! Yet I only have one wrap and just feel that's just not enough! :rotfl:
Can't tell you how often I've had nightmares recently that I was in Boots and couldn't find the suncare section! I think we may all need some kind of support group!

Thanks to everyone for these brilliants tips

I suppose this question isn't technically related to Boots but I just wondered where you get your baskets, etc from that you put all your Boots goodies in to give as presents?

    Thanks

    Hi
I tried this yesterday & till would not accept voucher - supervisor called & said that as make up bag was free I couldn't use voucher - embarassed me in front of rather large queue!! I left it & called customer services who said it won't work as can't combine the 2 offers, gave me some points as a 'sorry' for how I was spoken to.
Well done for getting this to work - one question tho - did the SA have to override the till to get the voucher to work???
    Thanks
    Dawn :confused::confused::confused:

How odd! Mine went through no problem, she even scanned the TB make up bag (or "cosmetics purse" as the receipt calls it) first which worried me as it comes up at £5, then later the TB Ltd Edition Body wash @ £3.99, TB Ltd Edition body spray @ £3.99 and a TB mini body spray @ £2.10. when that scanned it flashed up "***link-save***" on till, so i finally exhaled from the first scan (it'd been a while), then handed her a stack of vouchers (botanics points, snack a jack discount, baked walkers crisps discount, £1 off vitamins, £2.50 off skincare and the £2 off a £10 spend - the latter being the one which works on Ted Baker stuff).

All went through without a hitch

    Hi all,

I tried today with the Sanctuary range. Bought 3 £4.50 bath things (cheapest that they had), came to £9 as on 342. Tried to use £2 voucher from wrap, 200 points from acm and 200 points from cot booklet. All went through except the cot voucher. SA had forgotten to put my card in and had to go get them put on so don't know if she only put one through. Has this combo worked for anyone else?

I havent made up any gift baskets (sorry, but my stuff is so gorgeous and usually well out of my price range so I keeping it all for Little Old Me!!) but I know you can get nice gift bags in card shops that would be ideal for popping stuff into to make up a pressie parcel. Fill one with goodies, Tie a little ribbon to the handle, add a note and Hey Presto, a perfectly acceptable gift :D
2008 gig list... Nickelback + Staind (OMG...Staind ROCKED!!), Roger Waters, Infadels, Pendulum, The Police, K T Tunstall, Breed 77, Biffy Clyro....oh, and Motorhead :D

I scan all the stacks of baskets by the doors ever since I was heading out of the store and found a discarded voucher in one of them... i wonder how crazy i'd look if i saw one trapped right in the bottom basket and insisted on taking each out in turn until I reached it :rotfl:

  • Lakeside Thurrock lots of No. 7 Glyco Peel sets on 2nd floor at 2pm this afternoon, bought 1 plus free wrap then grabbed another and went downstairs to pay. That was my last 2 £5 vouchers

 just found out from daughter that someone in work has given her 4 £5 vouchers eekkkkk and she's too frightened to go into Bond St Boots to use them, I just emailed step by step instructions on what to do

Maybe I will have to go late night shopping tonight!

  • Please excuse me if this is a stupid question. Are the £5 and £3 No7 vouchers are still valid? Aren't they suppose to work only till 30th Jan? I have got some but it says valid until 30th.

    Thanks

throat thingies & flu tablets & sachets all work with the voucher but you must do seperate tranactions, OH was with me so I did flu sachets .99p & OH did throaties both with the 100 points voucher :)

What a cute penguin! I do admire how you have got Mr Pottersfolly trained up.

My OH's interest in Boots extends only as far as amusement that they don't like taking money for goods in there, and in knowing he has enough for a sandwich on his card now.
