  • I took my 3yr old with me yesterday, came back with bags of suncare 6 4 1 and botanics, plus omega 3 vitamins for my kids, then I went back today, to our smaller boots store, got another bag filled with N07 suncare and more botanics, went and collected 3yr old from nursery, he saw the bags and said, "Has mummy been back to boots for more shopping??" How embarrasing, that my 3 yr old recognises the bags logo and knows when Ive been!! They dont miss a trick do they??
:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: my 4 year old son wanted to know why i keep on going to boots ?:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

bought the botanics beauty balm for a quid yesterday s/a looked at me funny then said "you cant use this and get the face cream free" she put it through and it worked "oh dear so it did " she said needless to say i was out of boots very quickly many thanks to all who post these brill deals.
Before you point fingers, make sure your hands are clean !;)
  • i used up all of my vouchers last night, took me ages to work out everything and each thing had to go through the till separately, don't think the young sales girl was too bothered though :D She did try to "Help" by suggesting I was going to lose out by putting my 6 NO7 suncare though in one transaction, I thanked her for her advice but I would be fine with them all going through together :rotfl: :rotfl:

I had my 10 year old son with me and he is a great Bootser (and a tesco R&R finder) but I think I've put him off shopping in there for a long time, he actually said he didn't think it was possible to spend an hour and 15 minutes in a Boots store :rotfl: :rotfl:

My husbands face was a complete picture when i came in with all my bags, "How much did all that cost???" and "I should of come with you.. you know we are tryng to save money" and then I showed him my receipts :D:D;)

Now I need to find somewhere to store all my purchases... ehm......

:T Thanks to all who post on here..the best & friendliest forum on MSE :T

Boots.com - in the 75% off section there is a DAB alarm clock CD/radio in stock for about £17.49...

Sorry - don't remember any more details as I had to stop myself from buying one. Although it looks a great bargain, I had to remind myself that I don't actually need one!!

I just want to say a big THANKS for all the info on here. I'm going to miss this thread, it's been brilliant with lots of helpful people. :T
  • Someone save me from myself! I just spent £35 on the 75% off sale again. So far this month that's £40 in points, and £140 on the website. Remind me how I need all this stuff and how it's so good to be this prepared in January :o

    I am moneysaving........................aren't I??

I'm quite glad that I have no more £5 vouchers my haul is...

17x Glossy Locks (I only have short hair!)
12x Lip and Eye (should I consider having a trout pout?)
3x Factor 25 (I normally use a higher factor than this on holiday)

    4x Botanics eye cream
    3x Botanics night shift moisturiser

Most of this stuff will be presents - I have to confess that I'm not really keen
on Botanics but can't resist a freebie and you can't have too many body waffles!
