I know a couple of people have said it, but can someone confirm that the £5 voucher definitely doesn't work with the electrical items anymore? SA refused to try it for me yesterday in Newcastle. And I really want the eyelash curlers!! (but not enough to pay £5.99 :D )

Didn't work for me or el6724 in branches that it had previously worked in, also electrical items were no longer registering as part of 3 for 2.

I think you'll find nearly all the posts were deleted - which is a shame because I think many people were prepared to come back and bring A LOT of boots knowledge with them - such as the post about by Mummysaver which gave details of how the free gift worked last year.

It would appear that despite so many saying they were glad to have the old posters back we're still not welcome by someboby?

What a strange little attitude you have there

Posters are welcome to post wherever and surely no one expects a welcome committee each time they post?

To stop posting because you are not fanfared is your own loss.

I posted yesterday about the rude pharmacy Sa who refused to register me on the prescription collection service so i missed my 250 points well i i complained about her to customer services who were really nice and apologised.I wasn't in this morning but apparently they called again and are ringing back later- i didn't expect them to take it this seriously so yes i am impressed but anyone know what they might say to me today?I feel like voiciing my concerns about the staff attitude because i wander around the store looking for an approachable Sa.
Hope this doesn't get deleted as i don't see what the problem is with talking a little about boots-im grateful to all the posters who make an effort to explain things to everybody a bit more clearly.Just mentioning offers is a bit robotic!

just back from boots....should have spent £230 ish, did spend, £21 ish. I'm going to make up wee gift bags for my pals, give them a wee January boost!!
The suncare wasn't advertised as bogof, but the cs comfirmed it, put my first 6 through and went straight through the back of the shop to get her purse and buy herself some!!! I love boots....and I love this site.

Just to say, the 342 on No.7 appears to expire on 30th and the gift set only come out on the 31st, so that may be a problem.
It shouldn't be a problem if the BOGOF stays with the n7 suncare products! :)

Well, I for one was pleased to see them back last night. I didnt for one minute think that el6724 was expecting a welcome commitee. Its sad if they dont post again, the info last year was amazing and a lot of us will miss there posts.
I also remember the words of my friends, but I would rather have enemies than friends like you :p

:p would like to make it known that ZubeZubes avvy is a DHN, she's not dancing :o

I know that its not botanics, no 7 etc... but can anyone give me a couple of pointers as to how to secure some gillette fusion razor blades cheaply ?

You better do that with the Tesco H&B vouchers.

Even if they are not on offer you should be able to get them cheaper like that.

el6724 and many other people who posted on here yesterday were regular posters a while ago, and were responsible for many many of the glitches which encourage people to join mse and post on the various boards. Whilst nobody is expecting a fanfare, it just seemed at little strange that those posts saying hi and nice to see you all again were deleted, when a great deal of other essentially irrelevant chat has recently been allowed on the boots thread.

Still as you say, no doubt it will be our loss not to post any glitches on here again.
