  • Legal rights??

Hiya - I'm thinking about doing the 6 4 1 on the £24.50 bags and then getting them free with the parenting voucher....before I try it tomorrow I would like to know something:-

If I am successful and walk out with the bags -can the store still later question anything ie say that I can't keep them?obtained them dishonestly? could I get into 'trouble?'

Sorry to scare anyone!!XX- just wondering what they could do as the till should state 0.00 so legally I owe £0.00 - am I right in saying there will be no legal repercussions???

    Thank you!!XX

Thank you :) I phoned the customer care number from the receipt, not the advantage card number. I will go and try it now. Thanks again.
  • i think if you've been through the till and you owe £0.00 then thats the final decision! pretty sure there is no legal come-back.

In case anyone with a Parenting Club voucher is looking for a store with the £24.50 suncare bags, there are plenty in the main store in Bath. I unfortunately do not have one of these wonderous vouchers, but saw a whole shelf of the bags today whilst redeeming my other vouchers.
  • Right, thats it, I am all Boots out!!
Today I used my last lot of vouchers and got....

No7 lipstick design bag with goodies inside (£6.50)
No7 eyeliner (£6.75 ...I now have one in every colour!!)
2x No7 Pre holiday Face serum (£7.50 each)
    No7 face wipes (£6)
No7 sauna face masks (reduced to £3.75)
2x Lee Stafford shampoos (£3.99 each)
2x Umberto Whatshisname Shine spray (£2.99 each)
    Tony and Guy shampoo. (£4.49)

I had a fabulous SA (young, male, couldnt have been more helpful) who put it all through in seperate lots and basically I spent about £8 as some items came up as free. Yes, I could have spent less (using the 2 suncare + 1 other No7 item) but couldnt face buying yet another glossy locks or lip/eye shimmer as I already have 6 of each. :D
Chuffed to bits. Over the last few weeks I have amassed a complete new make up set, including foundation, powder, eye stuff, lipsticks, concealer etcetc, worth about £200 (blimey, £200 for a set of make up...do people really pay these prices??) and enough face/suncare/shampoo/conditioner/hairstyling items to last me a year.
Thank you all so so much for the hints and tips. I shall go out tonight looking fab and feeling great....Thank to YOU!!:T

Rang my mum to see how she had got on with the offers today (I sent her armed with vouchers and explanation of offers).

"No burgandy bags :( , so I got you the buffers and nailvarnish.............."

    "thanks mum"

    "i got another voucher....shall i go aagain".... :T :T :T :T well done mummy jamtart6

    So she went round again.

Rang her later to see how she'd got on (obsessive compulsive need to know!).Dad answered.

"Im mortified, the security guard had to ask us to leave the store as we'd been loitering up and down aisles all day. They have a policy where its only one transaction per customer per day and so we were frogmarched out"

So I was searching for the number for customer services saying it was a disgrace and they cant treat you like common criminals for SHOPPING *high horse*.....

when he started laughing and said he was only joking    :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: GRR @ DADDY!!!

Apparently they have loads of great bargains and only 2 SA's were snotty, so Mum was identical back :D

COME HOME QUICKLY MUMMY AND DADDY TART! I CANT WAIT TO SEE WHAT IVE GOT!!!! (naughty daddy tart!!!)

Overheard 3 No 7 SA's talking, they were commenting on the suncare and one said she had phoned head office and she was told it was due to packaging changing - they were complaining about it. I can't see why it annoys them if HO are okay about it.

Do you get another £5 if you use the £5 voucher to pay and your cash spent is less than £5.
