The free bag we will be getting after the 31st of January looks like the same contents from the renowned Lilac bag from last year, that was my first experience of free bags from Boots and I totally believed the hype about it being worth £33 :rotfl:

I loved that bag and especially the mini foundation that came free with it, this time though I think I will wait until the hype is over and they reduce them to a reasonable price ( they usually go down to £2 after a few weeks) and then I will ahem, fill my Boots :j

Just back from Boots in Portsmouth.

the 6 4 1 is working there! even SA said to me its 3 4 1, would you like to take some more suncare stuff! I said to her, i got 6 here! and she make sure the product i got gone though alright.

also got a star shape tin with biscuts in, the discount bar code say 1.25, but on the receipt says 31p!!!!

also brought the bontics mitt 1.50 and got the moist lotion free.(100pt voucher)
cold and flu medicine 99p(100pt vocher and forgot to give her the 50%off voucher, so need to go again tomorrow)

when i paid the SA said the 5pound no.7 voucher won't work, but i did said to her, can you just try to scan that please, and she did, of cos it works!But she forgot to give me another voucher!:mad: and i forgot about it!! do you think i can e-mail boots customer services or go in to the shop and ask for one?
BTW, there is still a shelf full of suncare products there, for the 5.50 products, they still got at least 3 of each item! so good luck everyone!

There is a 100 point token in the H&B mag for Tesco own brand cold and flu medicine. The packs of their own basic strength cold + flu tablets are reduced from £1.99 for a pack of 16 to 99p, which means they are effectively paying you 1p (in points) to have them:T

same happened to me today, but wasn't sure if emailing customer services would work. shall we give it a go? do you know the address?

Thanks for the welcome ragtimeplayer. Damn I didn't see them - I was getting too giddy thinking I would get something other than the body buffer things (which I dont use but is worth buying at £1.50 for the free moisturiser ). Maybe I'll bob in tomorrow - for the 3rd day in a row and have a look or the trevor sorbie. I cant seem to shift these vouchers - everytime I use 1 I get 1 back LOL :rotfl: .
Anyway thanks again - maybe I'll see you at the No7 suncare 1 day :rotfl: and to keep it offer elated - they had loads of the burgundy bags still today :T

Well I finaly plucked up the courage to try 641 and it worked :j I also bought a couple of deodrants a frizz eaze leave in conditioner and a burgandy bag, got £70 worth of goodies for £15, the SA looked a bit bemused but never said anything.
Thanks so much for everyone's advice I have a lovely boots stash now!!!

One thing though as I'm new to the thread I am so intrigued as to why the lilac bag was such a good deal??? Can anyone explain and put me out of my misery???
