  • 15th to 29th September at Rais Gerbi, Sicily seems damn reasonable at 158 euros for a mobile home that sleeps 6 or LA MASSERIA for 142 euros - a bit more difficult to get to if flying.

We've now worked out our route:
Stansted - Bologna 12th May (AM flight) £8.99 today with Ryanair using their cash passport.
Bus direct from Bologna airport to Porto Garibaldi €15 per head (2 1/2 hour wait at airport (find a bar?) booking.sacaonline.it/en/reservations/step1/ free for kids under 12
Return: Rimini - Stansted (purely for the PM flight) €8.99.
So far... bus to Ravenna then train to Rimini.

roan.nl have reduced a number of their offerings for April/ May staying in mobile homes - just be careful that the pool is open. 2 weeks in a mobile home in Italy for €126!! Enter dates 21st April 14 nights.

We've never been with Eurocamp, but have started looking at them, as the children's clubs they run really appeal. Our 2 kids are now of an age where they love playing with other kids, so really want to go somewhere with good kids clubs - plus it gives us a bit of a break.

If you book with these cheaper operators, are the children's clubs still included in the price? Or do you need to book through Eurocamp to get the childrens club?

the two sites we visited Carantec with Keycamp and Clairvaux with Venue, both had kids clubs that were run by the site, and all kids could attend. I have no idea whether there was a charge or not, as mine are too old for kids club, so didn't go.

Hi, I am late to the conversation I see, I am planning my trip now for the summer - just enquired with Camping France Direct https://www.camping-france-direct.co.uk/

You book directly with the campsite through them, which is cheaper than through an operator, especially as you pay in Euros.

Use a price comparison site too like ispycamping.com, who compares prices amongst all the operators.
