Hello moneysavers.
I have an iphone 4 and thinking about downloaded ios 5 onto the device, but have heard there have been problems. Don't want to mess my phone up but don't want to be missing out for the sake of being a wimp! Please advise any of your experiences :-) :money:

Just make sure you back-up first and it'll be fine.
All your music WILL be removed from the phone if you are selectively picking the music and you will have to re-sync but that is all.
iOS 5 is great... go on ... you know you want to

Some people have found they get excessive battery drainage after restoring their backup to iOS5, either on to their existing iPhone or on to a new iPhone 4S (mainly the latter). No clear causes have been identified, although some people have found that deleting and re-adding their e-mail settings can cure the problem.
I upgraded my iPhone 4 to iOS5 on the evening it was released and my battery has been excellent, possibly better than before.0 -
I though I had reduced battery life following iOS5 on both my iPad 2 and iPhone 4, but after paying more attention to the battery pecentage it seems about the same, 10 hours of use (wifi on, 3G off, brightness on low, volume on lowest setting). I think the iPhone might be using up more battery while on standby than it did before though.0

when I upgraded I lost all of my photos (nothing important, but they weren't for some reason in the backup I did before I upgraded),
so when you plug your phone into itunes first back up the phone and also copy all your photos you have taken on the phone to your computer, then update.0 -
Mine took a few goes but then I did it 6pm on release day when everyone tried to

Only issue was I have an iPhone and Ipad on my account and some of the iPad games (1gb plus) got synced to the iphone and I ran out of memory on it but nothing major really, deleted them and all was well.0 -
Mine took about 5hrs to do when i had a good look round on the phone the only thing i could see is it put 2000 pictures on the phone and may be that's why it took so long
Apart from that everything went back on and everything is working fine
i think it was a really good upgrade.:DNobody is Perfect. I am Nobody, therefore I am Perfect.

I have updated all my own devices and about a dozen of my customers devices, not a hitch with one of them.0
