Ooh, where did you get them for £25? Aren't the tall ones £39.99 in tk maxx?

  • Apologies if this has already been written about but for those who don't know....
I wanted some UGG-like boots to keep tootsies warm this winter but am not interested in the UGG label or the price. Have had shops-own faux sheepskin boots before but the soles are always rubbish and feet get sweaty. At TK MAXX they have BEARPAW boots lined with real sheepskin so hopefully warm but not sweaty feet! Mine just arrived and love them so much I wanted to share as I spent a whole day almost researching boots and where to get them.

These boots are still around £50 or more on Ebay, they are £29.99 in TK MAXX, special offer at the mo is free delivery on all standard orders.
They have sizes 5,7,8 in it looks like on the website but local stores may differ I guess. I was worried before they arrived as I read you need to order 2 sizes bigger as they are American sizes, but no worries as I had ordered my normal size 8 and they arrived in a size 10 which is the US size so they fit!

    Hope this helps someone:j

  • saw some tall leather UGG style ones in costco yesterday ( costco branded) that looked pretty good around £35 if i remember right. good for the wet weather :-)
I bought some bear pawswhen they came on the forum about 3/4 weeks ago and i must say they are pretty damn comfy. dont regret buying them at all and only paid £29.99 TKMAXX.
  • I got 10 inch Bearpaw Meadows in the hickory colour I wanted (like the chestnut in uggs) in the St Austell TK Maxx, if anyone else is in Cornwall, they had quite a lot there (if you want details of the styles/colours I can remember just ask, also remember the sizes are american so if you are an 8 you need to find ones with 10 marked on the bottom) and a lot better selection than Truro.

I am in love with mine, thay are so comfy and warm and have really chunky soles (about 1 inch thick). I love not having to wear socks, I hate socks. The only downside is I love them so much I'm scared to wear them anywhere wet/potentially dirty, I have waterproofed them with a spray but am still paranoid!

I paid £39.99 for Meadows but they had Emma and Dream boots for £29.99 I think. I've noticed the price varies with the store/colour though, as the 10 inch hickory emmas were £29.99 in St Austell but I'm sure the grey 10 inch emmas were £39.99 in Truro so check prices if you're near a couple of stores and aren't too fussy about colour.

  • If you arent keen on the Bearpaw ones because of the heels, look at these Gumbies ones on TKMAXX with leather reinforced heels. They are short ones for £29.99
