£2 savers club part 2

Hi there....how do I join this please?

I'm a newbie at MSE but would love to join the £2 club as it seems like a great idea.....!

I have just bought a Teramundi.

I had been telling myself that I didn't need one - I didn't want one - I cannot justify the expense

But they were so lovely, and there was just one that matched my decor exactly :happyhear - and then I read about each one has a special message inside for when it is broken open. And how you write a small slip of paper with the date and what you are saving for as you post your first coin - and ohh I just had tooooooo.:smileyhea


Must admit tho' I was surprised how small they were, for some reason I expected it to be over 2 feet tall -:exclamati

Now to fill it up. It says £400 in gold coin I would love to know if they mean £1's or £2's anyone know:question:

I bought grandson premium bonds with the £200 I had collected 3 weeks ago, that had taken from his birth, mid Sept 06 to save.Would you believe I have not had another one since, dying to start saving for next lot of premium bonds. I don,t "buy" them off family, just save what I get in my change, but this long without a £2 coin is unheard of for me.

what a day! in what can only be described as the closet i will ever come to working for the Royal Mint, i managed to get 9 £2 coins (£18)!!!

We counted ours the day before yesterday and we're up to £138...woooo! Going to carry on and try and get to £200 before October.

Yep, still here The excitement of counting our £2 coin pig didn't start the contractions unfortunately!

I'm new to the board today and trying to get my financial stuff back in the black, I joined the 20p club today and would like to join the the £2 one as well (don't know when I'll have a spare one to save but I'll try!!!). Can I join in??
