I've decided to start this
I'm changing jobs at the end of the month and I've dropped hints that I would like a Terramundi as a leaving present!
Already have 2x £2 - so it's a start. It's funny how many other people you find out do things like this when you mention it - after I said it at work, I had 3 other people pipe up saying "oooh yeah, we do that too!"Finally debt free!0 -
:j Oh I just bought £10 worth from OH. That has increased the weight in the money jar nicely  - it was feeling very light after having banked my first £100 :dance:Official : £2 Saver #067/DFW Nerd Club Member #277/Sealed Pot Challenge #5350

Hi peeps,
Well I have been slowly adding to my growing collection in the £2 pot. I made a promise to myself that I would save EVERY £2 coing that came my way.
The odd one or two a week is just about right.
In the last two days I have had 11 coins thats a whole £22. Do I pot the lot or what?
Oooooh decisions, decisions. I try to be true to myself, but can I justify 'potting' the whole lot.
Even the kids are ganging up on me, saying 'but, mum, you said you were going to save ALL of them'
grrrrrr what on earth made me tell them what I was going to do with the Giant Orange Jelly Baby Money Box with its sealed up stopper.Proud to be dealing with my debts ONE day at a timeStopped smoking 25.05.07 - Saving £7.80 a day:j Successfully claimed bank charges of £2598.39 as of 1st June 2007:j0
