It was my birthday yesterday, and OH gave me £20 worth as a fun pressy, then whilst we were out celebrating :bdaycake: received another £8 worth in change which I managed to obtain through dubious means!!!! ;) Well a woman has to do what a woman has to do when Hubby withholds £2 coins!!!!:A ;)

So went to the bank today and paid in my first £100 and then went on line and paid that amount off a debt. :T

Then received another two whilst doing shopping. :j

Unfortunately mine won't go off a debt. It'll go to pay my dentist bill as I have to have a tooth rebuilt

Ah, well start again in my terrimundi!

I followed someone else's tip (I can't remember who but you probably know who you are) and found one of those money tins you can only open with a tin-opener in my local pound shop. So I have an official £2 coin tin now and I transferred my £28 into it.

It made my day yesterday and I was so excited I told everyone in the office about it :o and my landlord twice because I forgot I'd already seen him at work.

Ive not had any £2 for ages, Waitrose used to be really good at giving them with any change, but even they seem to have run out lately!!!!

I banked another £60 of £2 coins yesterday, releasing a few more into the circulation round here, then, when I was returning the empty collecting bag to my drawer, DH handed over 4 of the little beauties to start me off towards my next lot :D
